Accounting Director

• As the lead for accounting operations in Thailand, this role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with financial reporting standards, including statutory and international requirements such as US GAAP.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, manages day-to-day accounting functions, and maintains strong internal controls.
• Lead the Thai tax strategy, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations, including BOI (Board of Investment) certificate tracking and reporting for Corporate Income Tax exemptions.
• Involves managing tax risks, developing tax-efficient strategies aligned with business objectives, and coordinating with external advisors and corporate tax teams. Supports cash flow forecasting, monitors currency hedging requirements, and drives continuous improvements in ERP systems and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to providing technical expertise on domestic tax implications and identifying opportunities for tax optimization. The role also includes setting performance goals and fostering talent development within the accounting team.

• CPA, FCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Degree-level education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels and with global management.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, Thai tax laws, and international tax compliance.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and business alignment.
