About the Company
A leading energy distributor in Thailand, offering a wide range of fuels and asphalt products through a nationwide network of approximately 450 service stations. The company also serves commercial and industrial clients, provides a fleet card program, and exports fuel to neighboring countries.
Job Responsibilities
· Responsible in managing company’s credit risk exposure and analyzing customers’ information, business and trends to identify the appropriate customers’ credit line granted for achieving customers’ satisfaction and financial objectives.
· Make effective credit decisions and reduce company risk.
· Investigate and appraise, using analysis of up-to-date financial and other data, customers’ present and continuing ability to meet their obligations within their line of credit and within specified terms of sale.
· Join the business units to visit customer sites to investigate customers’ business reliability
· Recognize the true customers’ financial status, business trends and required consumption volume to identify the appropriate credit line and ensure customers’ understanding on credit process and scope of services provided by Company
· Conduct annual review of credit lines and provide review results together with recommended mitigations to remedy the credit risks to business units.
· Follow up committed actions and maintain or terminate credit line as review. Block inactive accounts and inform business units for further actions.
· Maintain and monitor the credit line and terms in company systems including terminate credit lines of inactive or problem customers.
· Provide timely and accurate credit reports to business units. Arrange credit board meeting, prepare minutes of Credit Board Meeting and distribute to all concerned management.
Experience requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferable) or finance.
· More than 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance area with 3-5 years in credit analysis and control.
· Good command of written and spoken English
· Actively develop skills, contribute new ideas, take initiative, improve processes embody a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
· Capable of improving work processes, developing reports or tools for decision making applying power tools e.g., Power Apps, Power Query, Power BI, Data Analytic or other relevant platforms.
· Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferable) or finance.
