Team Leader - Data Center (HVAC)

This role focuses on designing and managing HVAC systems for large-scale data centers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the systems are built according to design, tested properly, and delivered on time with high quality. The job involves both office-based design work and on-site technical support, including troubleshooting and system testing.

• Lead the detailed design and documentation of HVAC systems for large-scale data centers.
• Prepare and submit technical drawings and material lists for approval.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
• Conduct and oversee functional tests, system integration tests, and final acceptance procedures.
• Ensure all HVAC construction work strictly follows approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery with high quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical directors to manage the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Support continuous improvement by providing feedback and optimizing HVAC system performance.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HVAC Engineering or related field.
• Experience in HVAC design or project management, especially for large data centers.
• International experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of air conditioning systems and smoke exhaust design.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in heat transfer and CFD simulation.
• Ability to design and draw HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC standards.
• Certifications like ATD, CDCP, or Chartered Engineer are a plus.
• Willing to travel globally, especially in Asia-Pacific.
