Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement financial systems, internal controls, and accounting standards to ensure clarity and uniformity across operations.
  • Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy in transactions, adherence to control protocols, and completion of reconciliations in line with established financial governance.
  • Oversee routine financial activities, including managing payables, receivables, and payroll functions.
  • Coordinate balance sheet reviews, cash flow planning, and treasury operations to maintain financial health and liquidity.
  • Produce financial reports and conduct detailed financial analyses, ensuring all outputs meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Create and enforce billing and collection frameworks, supervising the team to guarantee timely and precise invoicing and payment collection.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial insights and commercial analysis to support both operational decisions and strategic planning.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and key financial projects aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors, ensuring full compliance with financial laws and reporting obligations.
  • Support the COO in the annual pricing review, including gathering industry benchmarks and compiling relevant management data.
Education requirements
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial practices with broader business objectives, delivering forward-thinking support.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance, fostering a performance-oriented culture.
  • Advanced proficiency in management reporting tools, particularly Excel, with a strong ability to leverage them for effective data presentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the capability to manage priorities and delegate tasks efficiently within the team.
  • Client-focused perspective, with an understanding of professional service environments and the ability to interpret needs from a legal practitioner’s viewpoint.
  • Dependable, energetic, and solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Certified accountant with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Background in consulting/audit/law firms is considered a valuable asset.
  • Thorough understanding of local financial regulations, including statutory reporting, audit standards, and tax compliance.
