Distribution Center Director

We are partnering with an Integrated Logistics Services provider to recruit a skilled professional with hands-on expertise in managing distribution center operations and delivering integrated logistics solutions.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of distribution center operations, including logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and team leadership.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance, cost efficiency, and process accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and capital expenditures related to distribution activities.
• Monitor spending and drive cost control to meet profit and loss objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and distribution workflows.
• Supervise staffing, training, and performance to maintain a high-performing workforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with broader business goals.

• Proven experience managing operations across ambient, cold storage, and fulfillment environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
• Skilled in implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale logistics teams, including managing or confidently stepping into roles overseeing 500+ employees.
• Capable of designing and executing operational strategies across diverse temperature-controlled logistics sectors.
• Adept at integrating technology and process optimization to enhance distribution center performance.
