Assistant Product Development Manager

Our client is a leading global player in the handcrafted colored gemstone and diamond jewelry market

• Finalize jewelry samples and compile all required specifications and documentation for smooth production transition
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure design consistency and craftsmanship excellence
• Oversee pre-production approvals and deliver precise technical guidance to manufacturing teams
• Conduct inspections of initial production batches to ensure alignment with approved sample standards
• Monitor production schedules, identify delays or quality concerns, and implement timely solutions
• Maintain comprehensive records of sample specifications, updates, and approved changes
• Act as the primary link between design, product development, and production teams to ensure smooth communication
• Ensure production units consistently reflect approved sample specifications with a target accuracy rate of 98% or higher
• Drive adherence to production timelines, aiming for at least 90% of SKUs to progress on or ahead of schedule
• Resolve production-related issues within an average of two business days
• Provide technical responses and feedback to factory teams within a 24-hour turnaround
• Guarantee 100% accuracy in documenting and sharing all design and production changes with relevant stakeholders

• Experience in product development for gemstone and diamond jewelry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sample coordination, production planning, or quality assurance
• Strong technical knowledge of jewelry materials, construction methods, and production workflows
• Skilled in interpreting design specifications and translating them into clear production requirements
• Proficient in using documentation tools and systems for tracking samples, changes, and approvals
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse teams

• Bachelor or Master degree in related fields
